Our Single Day Golf Insurance initiative started back in 2010 with DeVere Golf. The idea behind the scheme was to offer all golfers who played a DeVere course free £1m Public Liability insurance for the day. As part of the partnership agreement DeVere offered to give away 3 free rounds of golf to Golf Care customers when they purchased insurance. And by doing so every month Golf Care sends hundreds of golfers to their courses.
The scheme was based on a very simple activation process. Golf Care provided DeVere with a short form for the golfer to fill in and the cover was activated instantly for the round of golf that day.
The scheme was so successful at generating new data that it has since been rolled out to over 40 venues, including renowned courses such as The Belfry, and huge chains including Marriott, QHotels and MacDonald.
This is a proven model which we have launched with numerous partners. Schemes we have successfully run include 4 weeks free insurance, 8 weeks free insurance and 12 months for the price of 9 amongst many others.
For each offering we develop a customer facing online portal, which allows the customer to set up their insurance quickly and easily and once they have registered we give them the opportunity to purchase annual insurance at a discounted rate.
The schemes are set up on a commission basis so that our partners earn money for every policy sold, as well as giving them an added value benefit.
Our in-house marketing team lead the marketing strategy behind the offer. Including the development of dual-branded multiple touch-point marketing campaigns.
The scheme has been so successful that it has been rolled out to multiple partners in numerous markets.
