In April 2015 Cycleplan partnered with several major UK bike retailers to bring consumers a bespoke insurance solution when purchasing a new bike.

The product

The consumer product offering was 4-weeks free Cycleplan cycling insurance, which the customer could set up via a quick and easy online portal.  The idea behind the scheme was to give our retail partners added value for customers purchasing a bike or accessories. The consumer then had the opportunity to purchase annual insurance at a discounted rate.

The marketing

Our in-house marketing team led the marketing strategy behind the offer. We created dual-branded, multiple touch-point marketing campaigns which included banner ads on websites, POS in store and branded email follow ups.

The results

The 4-weeks free model is hugely adaptable and we have since rolled this out in other markets.
