Gunplan, Ripe’s longstanding specialist gun insurance product, has been rebranded as Ripe shooting insurance. 

Already part of the Ripe family, the product has been upgraded with a new name and brand identity as well as additional Public Liability options, providing customers with a choice of cover up to £2m, £5m or £10m. 

Ripe shooting insurance provides protection for all types of shooting, from rough and clay pigeon through to pest control. This includes Public Liability, Legal Expenses, Personal Accident and Equipment cover. 

Customers of the formerly known Gunplan will automatically be migrated to Ripe, with no impact on the cost of their policy, cover levels or policy documents. All policies will continue to be underwritten by Aviva.  

Policyholders will also continue to receive the same great service from Ripe’s award-winning, UK-based customer service team.
